- Why the Hip Sip?
-
The Advantages:
Let us say that you are at an event where wine is being served and that
you are at a buffet line. Without the Hip-Sip, you will have to put your
glass of wine down periodically as you move along the line. It is now prone
to being left behind and forgotten, or spilled as you knock the dang thing
over. If you have one of those plates with a cutout for a wine glass, you
cannot put it down easily without a spill.
With the Hip-Sip, you simply park your goblet at your side and enjoy using
both hands to fill your plate, knowing your glass is handy by your side.
- Where can I get a Hip-Sip?
-
Currently you can get the Hip-Sip at Wine World in Seattle, or Tanjuli
Vinyards in Prosser. We will update sites here as they come on line.
- Can I use a Hip-Sip without buying one?
-
We are currently working with venues and wineries that will rent the
Hip-Sip. You will be able to purchase a Hip-Sip at these venues and
receive a substantial refund upon return of the Hip-Sip. We envision
rentals at somewhere around $2.
- Can I run a marathon wearing the Hip-Sip?
-
You certainly can run a marathon wearing the Hip-Sip, but we strongly
advise that you carry only a plastic glass filled with water. It is
highly likely that you will slosh the water out, however. Our recommendation
is that the Hip-Sip be used when you're standing fairly still, filling
your plate, making friends whilst holding a plate, or talking with your
hands.
